Pitch Report

Headingley is known for its lively surface, especially in day-night fixtures. The new ball often swings and seams in the first 10 overs, making life tough for openers. Fast bowlers who hit the right areas can get wickets early.

However, as the game progresses, batting becomes easier with shorter boundaries offering plenty of scoring opportunities. Spinners may not get much turn, but their accuracy during the middle overs could play a role in controlling the run rate. A score in the range of 290–310 is considered competitive here.
