Nepal Premier League (NPL) bring another exciting match Kathmandu Gorkhas vs Karnali Yaks at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kritipur, Kathmandu Gorkhas aim to secure position in top two while Yaks are fighting to stay alive in the competition.

Kathmandu Gorkhas have  strong campaign so far. With three victories from their five matches, they have remained in the top three of the points table , Their batting and bowling departments have contributed evenly, and the team has produced some convincing performances. However, inconsistency is still a concern in batting. Aakash Tripathi and  Ben Charlesworth has been mixed up started in tournament, after getting good started not converted into big scores, while Milind Kumar and John Simpson who provide stability in middle order, while Karan kc and Mohammad Adil Alam add firepower at lower order.

Yaks batting has been brilliant so far ,at the top order  Priyank Panchal, who has scored 165 runs at a strike rate of 150 and third leading run scorer  and Mark Watt  give brisk start and set ton for the team . However, middle order looked little bit flattered ,William Bosisto and  Najibullah  Zadran struggled to find rhythm and consistency.Gulshan Jha who also struggled with both bat and ball, they all have to need to step up .

In Bowling has been major concern. Sompal Kami has been the standout performer with eight wickets and continues to lead from the front. But the other bowlers have been inconsistent, unable to break Partnership in middle overs and leaked so many runs in death overs which cost them  in most games.

Karan KC : t He has been one of the competition’s most impactful performers, contributing with both bat and ball whenever the team needs him. With the ball, he has taken 9 wickets in 5 matches With the bat, add firepower, highlighted by a recent unbeaten 34 off just 11 balls, which turned a tight match in the Gorkhas.

Milind Kumar :  has taken 9 wickets in just 4 matches,  while maintaining an economy rate of 6.88. His ability to control the middle overs and pick up crucial wickets , and contribute with bat to , that’s makes him crucial for the team.

Priyank Panchal : who provides both stability and attacking intent at the top set tone for the team. He has scored 165 runs in 4 matches at a strike rate of 150 .
