NPL, Pokhara Avengers vs Karnali Yaks Match Highlights : Adam Rossington Century Powers Avengers to win

In Nepal Premier League (NPL) saw an high scoring encounter between Pokhara Avengers and Karnali yaks, Pokhara Avengers seal clinical  victory 34 runs victory over Karnali yaks and strengthen their playoffs hopes ,Avengers delivered a complete performance, led by a blistering century from wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Rossington and guide Pokhara Avengers.

After winning the toss, the Karnali Yaks chose to bowl first, The innings began cautiously with captain Kushal Bhurtel and Adam Rossington facing the Yak’ opening bowlers, Bipin Sharma and Sompal Kami. The early overs were tight, and Pokhara moved forward carefully. Bhurtel tried to break free but was dismissed for 18 runs off 17 balls in the fifth over by Mark Watt.

That dismissal brought Jason Roy to the crease, a move that turned the innings completely. Roy and Rossington formed a 127 runs partnership that completely changed course of the game.

Adam Rossington delivered a completely dominant performance, scoring an unbeaten 108 runs from just 58 balls. His innings included 11 fours and 7 huge sixes, showing his clean hitting ability With this knock, he became only the third player in NPL history and the third overseas player to score a century. He reached his hundred in 55 balls and controlled the entire innings with an excellent strike rate of 186.21, putting his team in a strong position.

Jason Roy, playing his first match in NPL, provided excellent support, rotating the strike and punishing losse deliveries  ,contributing a valuable 46 runs off 34 balls with the help of 2 fours and 3 sixes.Dhananjaya Lakshan added a powerful late Cameo, smashing an unbeaten 23 off just 11 balls with a strike rate over 200. His quick hitting helped the Pokhara Avengers reach a huge total of 201 for 2 in 20 overs.

Mark Watt was the pick of the bowler for Karnali yaks took 1/24 in 3 overs while Nandan yadav also gets 1/34 in 4 overs.

Chasing 202 , Karnali yaks began their chase with strong intent, led by the in-form Mark Watt. The Scottish batter continued his excellent tournament and take on bowler from the start. He played a fluent knock of 59 runs from just 34 balls, hitting 4 fours and 5 big sixes. With support from Priyank Panchal, who scored 16 off 11 balls, Watt helped the Yaks get a fast start and stay close to the required run rate in the early overs, at the end of the powerplay 69/1.

After Punchal dismissal, Jaykishan Kolsawala struggled to find rhythm and managed 6 runs off 10 deliveries which slow down the scoring Watt brilliant innings eventually ended just before the halfway stage of the chase, and once he fell.Najibullah Zadran 24 runs off 15 deliveries and Pawan Sarraf 19 runs off 14 balls tried to bring the Yaks back into the game with some aggressive shots, but the Avengers bowlers kept taking wickets  . The Yaks went from 135/5 to being bowled out for 167 in 19 overs and fell short by 34 runs.

For Pokhara Avengers Dhananjaya Lakshan was stand out bowler took 3/31 in 4 overs and Rishi Dhawan also  gets 3/37 in 4 overs and One wicket for kiran Thagunna, kushal Bhurtel and Sandeep chettri.
