New Zealand Announced 14 Member T20i Squads Against West Indies

The New Zealand cricket board officially announced 14 Member T20i squad for the upcoming five matches series against West Indies , which will begin on November 5 , this series will serve as a preparation ahead of ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

Mitchell Santner will lead the side .

One of the major talking points of the announcement is the return of Kyle Jamieson and Ish Sodhi. Jamieson, who had been sidelined due to injury, is now fully fit and ready to lead the pace attack with his height, bounce, and movement. His inclusion strengthens the bowling unit significantly. Meanwhile, Sodhi’s experience as a leg-spinner will be valuable on New Zealand’s spin-friendly surfaces.

The selectors have also rewarded consistent domestic performers. Nathan Smith, an uncapped fast bowler, has earned his maiden T20I call-up.
