India ,March Into Asia Cup Final with Commanding Victory over Bangladesh

The super Four encounter between India and Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2025 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, it was contest that decided pathway to the grand finale , the clash saw india deliver a composed all round performance to defeat Bangladesh by 41 runs and reached in final.

India innings 

After losing the toss India put to bat first. Indian Openers gave the side and ideal platform . Abhishek Sharma played standout innings of the day , showcasing fearless stroke Play on both sides of the wicket ,his knock 75 off 37 balls set the tone for commanding start. Shubman Gill contributed 29 runs in a steady role during their 77 runs  opening stand .

The middle order could not sustain the early momentum Shivam Dubey, surya Kumar Yadav and Tilak varma departed cheaply , Bangladesh bowlers applied pressure and restricted scoring option the innings slowed considerably in the middle overs , with India losing wickets at crucial stage.

In the later half , Hardik Pandya provide stability and late acceleration striking a valuable 38 off 29 balls , despite the slow down , india made 168/6 in 20 overs .

Bangladesh bowling Rishad gets 2/ 27 in 3 overs , Mustafizur, Saifuddin and Tanzim take 1 wicket each.

Bangladesh innings 

Chasing 169 , Bangladesh needed a solid start but faltered almost immediately . Jasprit Bumrah with his accuracy , dismissed Tanzid Hasan in his very first over , setting the tone for the India . Parveez Hossain Emon and saif Hassan tried to revive the innings but their cautious approach meant the required run rate began creeping upward .

Saif Hassan emerged as Bangladesh’s lone warrior, crafting a composed 66 off 46 balls. He mixed boundaries with singles, keeping the chase alive with his intelligent shot selection.

But India’s spinners had other plans. Kuldeep Yadav spin a web around the middle order, striking twice in consecutive deliveries to remove Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Rishad Hossain. His spell effectively broke the back of Bangladesh’s batting. Axar Patel, accurate as ever, built pressure with dot balls, while Varun chakravarthy chipped in with wickets to ensure no lower-order resistance.

The collapse was swift and brutal. From 74/4 Bangladesh slipped to 110/8 in just five overs. Saif Hassan fought valiantly, but with no support from the other end, his innings was in vain. The Bangladesh side eventually folded for 127 in 18.3 overs, falling 41 runs short of the target.
