India Crush South Africa by 9 wickets ,Jaiswal Hits Maiden Century in Series Decider

India defeated South Africa by nine wickets in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam.  India sealed the three-match series 2-1.  India strong bowling performance and a memorable maiden ODI century by  Yashasvi Jaiswal, who led the run chase with great maturity.

India won the toss for the first time since the 2023 World Cup semi-final, and Indian captain KL Rahul chose to bowl first , The Proteas started confidently after losing opener Ryan Rickelton early to Arshdeep Singh. Quinton de Kock and captain Temba Bavuma steadied the innings with a strong 113-run stand for the second wicket. Bavuma added 48 runs off 67 deliveries.

De Kock looked very dangerous, timing the ball beautifully and attacking anything loose. He played aggressively against the Indian pacers and soon brought up his 23rd ODI century and 7th against India a superb 106 off just 89 balls, with 8 fours and 6 sixes. At 168/2 in the 29th over, South Africa looked set for a total of 330 or more.

However, the innings completely changed direction when India staged a remarkable comeback with the ball. Prasidh Krishna, who had bowled an expensive opening spell, returned strongly. He dismissed Matthew Breetzke for 24 and then removed Aiden Markram in the same over. Slow down the run rate and south africa momentum.

After quick wickets Marco Jansen and Dewald Brevis put together 35 runs Partnership but the moment came when Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Dewald Brevis on 29 and Marco Jansen on 17 , which changed completely course of the game.

However Keshav Maharaj added unbeaten 20  valueable runs, eventually South Africa Bowled out at  270 in 47.5 overs.

Kuldeep yadav was stand out bowler for India bagged 4 wickets for just 41 runs in 10 overs,while Prasidh Krishna was also took 4/66 9.5 overs, Arshdeep Singh and Ravindra Jadeja gets 1 wicket each.

Chasing 271 for the series win, India started with confidence and controlled aggression. Openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal put together a superb 155-run stand and set to e for the team their first 100-run opening partnership in 28 innings.

Rohit Sharma played freely and elegantly, scoring 75 runs off 73 balls ,hits 7 fours and 3 sixes. With this knock, he also crossed the milestone of 20,000 international runs.

After Rohit  dismissal  Virat Kohli joined Jaiswal and added an unbeaten 116-run partnership for the second wicket, Kohli continued his outstanding form in the series, batting fluently from the start. He scored a quick and stylish 65* off only 45 balls, with 6 fours and 3 sixes.

The real star of the innings, however, was Yashasvi Jaiswal. After two low scores earlier in the series, he delivered a mature and composed innings , Jaiswal reached his maiden ODI century with a calm and confident approach. His unbeaten 116 off 121 balls included 12 fours and 2 sixes. He rotated the strike well, punished bad deliveries, and ensured India to an convincing victory.

India chased down the target 271/1 in just 39.5 overs, winning with 61 balls to spare.

Fo South Africa keshav Maharaj was only bowler who took 1 wicket for 44 in 10 overs .
