The 1st T20I Ireland vs Bangladesh at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium in Chattogram. Bangladesh won the toss and Opted to bowl first, Ireland got brisk start, Paul Stirling and Tim Tector added 40 runs for the first wicket  and  Stirling Managed 21 runs off 18 deliveries , Ireland ended the Powerplay on a strong note at 48/1, putting early pressure on the Bangladeshi bowlers.while Tim Tector, who played fearlessly and attacked the bowlers from the beginning and played quick Knock of 32 runs off 19 balls and featuring 6 crisp boundaries .

Meanwhile Lorcan Tucker, who made a handy 18 runs from 14 balls, and  Curtis Campher, who added  24 runs off 17 deliveries, while Harry Tector played composed and attacking innings of unbeaten 69 runs off 45 deliveries, His knock included five massive sixes and one boundary .

Matthew Humphreys was the star with the ball, finishing with outstanding figures of 4/13 in his four overs. He consistently troubled the Bangladeshi batters with his control and variations. While  Barry McCarthy bagged wickets and Mark Adair chipped in with 2 wickets.

I was having some trouble with my grip, so I focused on bowling more arm balls. There was good swing in the air, which really helped me. I’ve been practising that delivery for a while, especially with the new ball. It works well under lights and on a wet surface because it reacts nicely off the pitch. As a team, we were excellent upfront. They lost four wickets in the Powerplay, and by then, we were already in a very strong position.
