South Africa Crush India by 408 Runs to Seal Historic Series 2-0 After 25 Years

South Africa created history After 25 Years by completing a 2–0 Test series whitewash against India. They defeated the india by a massive 408 runs on Day 5 of the second Test at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. This result marks india suffered largest margin defeat by runs in test cricket.

India resumed final day at 27/2 to chasing 549 runs The overnight batters, Sai Sudharsan and nightwatchman Kuldeep Yadav, tried to survive against the disciplined South African attack.The first breakthrough came from off-spinner Simon Harmer, who had troubled India all through the series. He dismissed Kuldeep Yadav for 5 with a dipped and turned sharply and hit middle stump through bat and pads.

Harmer removed Dhruv Jurel cheaply by outside edge, pushing India deeper into trouble at 42/4. India wickets kept tumbling.

Rishabh pant tried to break the rhythm of the bowlers by playing a few aggressive strokes. But again dismissed by Simon Harmer when pant look to defence the ball but due to extra bounce and turn balls goes through the slip and caught by Markram on 13 .

While Sai Sudarshan tried to stand on crease as much as possible,played with solid technique and defence but the moment came when Senuran Muthusamy came in attack straight after tea break and dismissed Sai Sudarshan and fighting innings comes toin end 14 runs off 139 balls also second slowest knock for India in test cricket.

After sai sudarshan Washington Sundar tried  to hold the innings with Ravindra Jadeja but fell on 16 runs off 44 deliveries again caught taken by Aiden Markram.

Aiden Markram created history in the field, took nine catches in the match, setting a new world record for the most catches by an outfielder in a Test match. He broke Ajinkya Rahane  previous record of eight catches from 2015 Sri Lanka in Galle.

Ravindra Jadeja was the only player who also showed fight after Sai sudarshan. He scored a determined 54 runs off 87 balls featuring four boundaries and 2 sixes, dismissed by keshav Maharaj and stumped by Kyle Verreynne. While Nitish Reddy goes without scoring.

India Bowled out on 140 , the last wicket dismissed of Mohammad Siraj and Brilliant caught by Marco Jansen with one hand South Africa the way finished things of , and seal the series after 25 years in India after 2002.

Simon Harmer was the stand out bowler for South Africa took 6/37 in 23 overs while 2 wickets for Keshav Maharaj and 1 for Marco Jansen and Senuran Muthusamy.
